Hi Ariel

this time I’m a shippers representative in the port on FOB terms, I don’t have the sea carriage contract but my principals claim non-compliance to their orders resulted in demurrage

vsl berthed 2150 hrs due to port congestion. Receivers (charterers) initially claimed time commenced at 0400 hrs (maybe they wanted to gain something))))

Hi everybody

I’ve got foll problem:
=
Our vessel agreement has been, laytime starts 6 hours after NOR for a port with “no night time navigation” that opens at 07.00h.
Vessel arrived at night time(22.00h).
Does the night time count for the given 6 hours?
When does start to count laytime?
At 07.00h or 6 hours later(at 13.00h)
=
Any ideas?...
