I am delighted to invite you to the ‘Driving the Motorways of the Sea’ European conference which is being held at the Logistics Institute, University of Hull on 18 November 2009. This event will explore the need to

•shift cargo from road- to sea-based intermodal transport
•improve accessibility within the North Sea Region and the Barents Region
•support the implementation of Motorways of the Sea and related transport networks in integrated logistical chains.
