Hi, I’m also studying for the PQE (by self study) and i’m finding it hard going. I’m currently studying all the group 1 subjects as well as working full time. I opted not to do the distance learning courses as they are a waste of time, i find that studying through self study is much better and cheaper.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself – I’m an ex 2nd mate and I’ve come ashore for a year to study for the ICS PQE exams (by self study). I’m really keen to network with other students and professionals and hopefully find a shore job by the middle of next year.

Any advice would be warmly received!
